So, it has been a month(s) and over the past month(s), I have been asked constantly about what I think will be of everyone’s psychological stance once things are said and done. One of the first alarming considerations was of those on the frontline paving a healthier way for all of us. What are they going through, in their minds? We cannot even begin to understand the amount of wearing that goes into every moment they breathe to save another’s life. Where do their psychological stance break, mends (to go back in), breaks again, and then to find some sort of solace to reboot; just to start the cycle all over again.

Second, is being that no one is exempt, we are looking at the situation affecting us as a whole – a human race. Before, now (this pandemic) I would often reiterate how much we truly need one another; more than we knew. And, as we look around, no one is different than another in how easy and seamlessly we all can be affected. There is no dividing us by countries, cultures, economical classes, or anything that have ever plagued our minds before now. When we look around, we all are victims, and no one is discriminated against by its rapture.

Lastly, in consideration of how we move forward. I can recall when I first began working remotely in 2009. People thought it was unrealistic, a gimmick, and something not as forthcoming as working in a place of business that had the dimensions of possible financial security – brick and mortar. Now, here we are face to face with the reality of remote work, remote school, and remote socializing; beyond the means of wasted time, most of us were accustomed to. Remote everything has become essential in ways we had never understood its depths before now.
Now, how do I answer the question of what I think will be of everyone’s psychological stance? Well, I simply cannot implicate that that right now – we are still amid it all. But I have been saying this, we are a society of resilient people. And, although we are at a great loss with one person being too many lives lost, we get through so much all the time. And, although this will always have a bearing on us all like no other catastrophe, we shall figure out what is next and move forward. May our higher powers be with us all. Check on your loved ones, check on your neighbors, and please do not forget to check on yourselves.
